What Is Rustic Design, Really?

The tenet behind rustic design is to feature natural materials in a space that prioritizes comfort and evokes a sense of coziness and home. Yes, this means wood. But don’t forget about brick, stone, and metal. Combine these elements in a simple, purposeful design that allows the natural beauty of the materials to shine.

Personally, I’d go for some dark slate floor tiles and tie everything together with black appliances and finishes. But, the Hatteras Pebble Grey cabinets are such a great base, you can really take the design in any direction you choose.
