Pantry cabinets are an easy way to organize your kitchen and declutter your countertops. But, one size does not fit all. Keep reading to explore several different pantry cabinet ideas to decide which one is right for your home.

Walk-in Pantry

A walk-in pantry is a dream for most families. It functions as an offshoot of the main kitchen, providing tons of organized storage that’s just a few steps away. Whether you have a large family or like to stock up when there’s a sale, a walk-in pantry gives you convenient and easily accessible storage for all of your foodstuff and kitchen supplies.

So why doesn’t every house have a walk-in pantry? Unfortunately, many just don’t have the space. It’s also the most involved and expensive pantry solution because it’ll likely require reframing walls to create the new room.

Wall Pantry

A wall pantry is what I like to call a ‘Goldilocks’ solution, perfect for kitchens that have some extra space but not a whole walk-in’s worth. To create a wall pantry, simply add recessed shelving to an unused wall and conceal it with cabinet doors. This solution still offers ample storage space at the touch of your fingertips, but you won’t lose any square footage from your kitchen’s footprint. The doors can end up making quite a design statement too!

Pull-out Pantry Cabinet

For kitchens that have no space to spare, pull-out pantry cabinets are the best solution. They effectively optimize the storage space already provided by the kitchen cabinets. Pull-out pantry cabinets offer more space than the traditional cabinet and allow you to view everything at a glance for easy retrieval. You’re probably familiar with the Lazy Susan, but a wide variety of pull-out shelving options have really upped the game in recent years, such as the pull-out spice rack.
